Focused on rock, pop, keys and samples, this collection features the rise and fall of big snare, soft piano and distorted guitar. Garage production ethics underpin each recording, as peaks, noise and out-take hiss are all retained within a glossier, remastered format.
Seven songs on two tracks tell the story of 'Sad Shallows', an ironically titled reflection of personal growth and life learning. Dealing with romance and relationship trauma, 'Sad Shallows' could be a beautiful existential tragedy played out through vampires, butterflies, pain and wistful dreams.
